Possibly my final post of the day...POSSIBLY...

I was all ready to shut down my blog for the night and get back to studying but I came across Gus Bennett, Jr.'s work through another fabulous blog I discovered today and I just had to share. His work is absolutely breathtaking. Just thought that I would celebrate and appreciate another black artist. I personally love photographs taking photographs of children. Especially young, black children. The innocence. The vulnerability. The absolute antithesis of what you may see on the 11 o'clock news or splashed across your newsfeed or under the most watched videos list on YouTube. I mean, I enjoy the occasional display of ratchetness as much as the next girl, but as Ed Lover is found of saying,  "C'mon son!" But without further adieu, I give you, Gus Bennett, Jr.
